Branding & Outdoor Visibility

The first phase of the project focused on elevating the HandyMaster brand to match their growing business vision. I designed a striking 30-foot by 10-foot billboard, strategically placed in Colombo 08 for maximum visibility. Alongside this, I created several branding materials that included:

• Updated logo refinement and vector adaptations
• Social media promotional designs and post templates
• T-shirt and ID card designs for staff
• Flyers, roll-ups, and interior branding for each department
• Business card layouts and office documentation templates
• 30ft x 10ft outdoor billboard design and placement
• Branded shopping bags and packaging sleeves
• Custom-designed price tags and shelf talkers
• In-office wall graphics and department signs
• Staff email signatures and presentation templates

Complete Building Network Setup

A major portion of the project involved designing and deploying a scalable and secure IT infrastructure across the entire 4-story building. I planned and installed a LAN that connected over 100+ clerical and administrative staff, with reliable internet and intranet access.

• Structured cabling across all floors with labeling and rack management
• Centralized server room setup with cooling, UPS, and rack installations
• Deployment of Managed Switches, Routers, and Access Points
• Configuration of Firewall, DHCP, DNS, and Domain Controller
• Segmentation of departments using VLANs for security and efficiency
• IP-based CCTV system integration throughout the building

Server Room & Email System Deployment

I built a secure and professionally managed server room capable of handling high-demand operations. I configured the internal servers for:

• User account and group policy management via Active Directory
• DHCP and DNS for network automation
• File server and backup system
• Security updates and redundancy configuration
• Access-controlled server room with environmental monitoring
• Daily and weekly automated data backups with restore testing

In addition, I configured a professional email system using their custom domain @handymaster.lk, with addresses like info@handymaster.lk, admin@handymaster.lk, and department-specific aliases.

Outcome & Client Feedback

The HandyMaster Colombo head office was fully functional by the scheduled launch on March 1, 2024. Every system was tested and optimized for real-time usage. Staff members were trained on using the new network and email environment, ensuring smooth onboarding.

The client was extremely satisfied with the end-to-end delivery. The project not only improved their internal operations but also significantly strengthened their corporate image and digital infrastructure.
