QMS Focal Security Office
High-Security Network & Tech Upgrade

In November 2023, I was assigned a highly sensitive and time-critical IT infrastructure project at the Qatar Museums (QMS) Focal Security Office. This operation was located in a high-security zone, requiring strict access control and working hours limited to only 6 hours per day. Despite these limitations, I completed the entire project within just one monthfrom November 1 to November 30, 2023.

The objective was to dismantle the outdated system and implement a fully modernized and secure network setup with advanced display technology.

Key Features

Full Raised Floor Removal & Site Preparation

The first task involved careful removal of the old raised flooring system without disrupting the surrounding infrastructure. This had to be executed with precision to avoid damaging existing underground cabling or affecting secured zones nearby. Once removed, the flooring space was optimized to accommodate new cabling pathways and server racks.


Removal of Legacy Network Systems

Following the floor clearance, I led the full dismantling of the old networking hardware, including outdated switches, cabling, and server racks. Special attention was paid to secure data wiping and disposal, adhering to security protocols under QMS supervision.


Installation of TV Wall

Despite working under time restrictions (6 hours/day) and heightened security clearance, the entire project was delivered on time and with full satisfaction from the QMS security team. The result was a modernized, secure, and efficient operations center ready for 24/7 surveillance and critical communications.

Mission Critical Success in a Secure Environment

This project highlighted my ability to perform mission-critical upgrades in complex, restricted, and high-security environments. It stands as another example of delivering high-quality technical solutions under pressure and in regulated conditions.
